Our founding inspiration
PUSH was founded from my own experiences as a single mother who understood the challenges of living paycheck to paycheck while relying on assistance to provide for my children. Those experiences inspired me to establish an organization dedicated to helping others overcome similar hardships with dignity, compassion, and hope. We saw a need in our Lake Park, Georgia community and knew we had to act.
What makes PUSH unique?
PUSH is different because it was born from personal experience, not just an idea. As a former single mother who experienced financial hardship, I understand what it’s like to struggle to provide for your family. PUSH serves with compassion, dignity, and without judgment. We don’t just hand out food—we build relationships, restore hope, and connect families with the resources they need to move forward. Our goal is to ensure that every person who comes to PUSH feels seen, valued, and supported as part of our community.
